The meeting is likely to decide fate of two prominent AAP leaders. Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan have both spoken out against various existing practices in the party. Their letter was leaked to the media and situation has only gone downhill from there. AAP is now virtually divided into two camps with Kejriwal loyalists closing ranks against Bhushan and Yadav. Tape record of Yadav's interview to reporters have been circulated to show that he has been involved in anti-party activity. While Prashant Bhushan has publicly acknowledged that his line of communication with Arvind Kejriwal has broken down. AAP leader like Ashutosh has been extremely critical of Bhushan for washing dirty linens in public.
AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh has said that there is an effort going on to ouster Kejriwal from the party. However both the dissident leaders have rubbished that claim. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on his part has tweeted that he is extremely pained by the development in the party and he wants to stay out of it. Will this be a day of showdown or a reconciliation is on cards?
