Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday left for home after wrapping up his six-day tour that took him to China, Mongolia and South Korea where he held bilateral talks and signed several pacts to bolster India's relations with the three countries.
"My visit to the Republic of Korea has been very satisfying. I thank the Korean people & Government for their warm hospitality," Modi tweeted before he emplaned for Delhi from here after meeting Busan Mayor Suh Byung-soo.
"Meetings with President Park Geun-hye and business leaders were fruitful. Many aspects of strengthening India-Korea cooperation were discussed. I leave with the confidence that our ties will get even better and our relationship will benefit people of our nations," he said.
Modi, who began his trip with China, held wide-ranging talks with the leadership of the three nations and also wooed investors for his 'Make in India' campaign.
In South Korea, the final destination of his three-nation tour, Modi and President Park held discussions and resolved to add "new substance, speed and content" covering defence, trade and investment, and regional cooperation to take the bilateral ties to a qualitatively higher level.

"Shipbuilding is a top priority for us." PM Modi tells Kil Seon Choi, Chairman of Hyundai Heavy Industries
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hyundai Heavy Industries to seek increased partnership between Indian shipyards and the South Korean giant to ensure that India's shipbuilding industry can benefit from its expertise and experience.
The Prime Minister, who spent about an hour, discussed various ways to expand cooperation in naval defence, LNG carrier construction and shipbuilding technology. "Shipbuilding is a top priority for us," Modi told Choi.
Modi showed particular interest in HHI's technological prowess in building a wide range of naval vessels as well as high-value added vessels such as LNG carriers.

PM Modi departs for engagements in Ulsan, Gimhae
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday left for Gimhae International Airport, from where he will leave for Ulsan to see the Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard.

To address a community
Modi will address a community reception where about 1,500 members of the Indian community are expected to attend before getting into talks with the Korean President.
To address Korea CEOs Forum
Modi, who is keen to woo Korean investments in India, will address India-Republic of Korea CEOs Forum, which would also be attended by the Korean President.
The Prime Minister will follow this up with meetings with some of the heads of Korean companies that are willing to invest in India or have already invested in India.
Modi will visit Hyundai Heavy Industries
Modi will also visit the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in the backdrop of shipbuilding emerging as an important area of cooperation between the two countries.
Bilateral Trade and Investment
Considerable significance is being attached to this visit, the first state visit to be exchanged between India and South Korea since the change of government in India in May last year.
Bilateral trade is about USD 16 billion and the two sides are keen to see that it goes up substantially. There are 300 Korean companies which have invested about USD 3 billion in India. They employ about 40,000 workers in India.
India's investment in South Korea is close to USD two billion. Indian companies are looking forward to greater access in Korea to pharmaceutical and IT products.
