Late Ustad Bismillah Khan's Shehnai has been stolen and his three sons are playing a blame game within themselves. Mehtab Hussain, the eldest son of Ustad Bismillah Khan, said, "Till the time the shehnai was in his room, it was fine. When he used to feel uneasy he used to work on that. In 2007, Naiyar Sahab said that the Shehnai should be given to him."

"My brother Kazim gave the Shehnai to him and after some time he fell ill. So, the Shehnai used to be there in his room. The whole family was in hospital, and from behind who took it, we don't know," he added. Kazim Hussain, the middle son of the Ustad, said, "We don't know where the Shehnai went. Nazim Hussain has an enmity with us. He did not ever gave a glass of water to our father. He never used to give Shehnai to anybody. We gave the Shehnai to Naiyar Hussain and he used it till our father was there."

"Shehnai is made of wood and is missing since 2009. Then why is he complaining now? We will file the FIR," he added. Nazim Hussain, the Ustad's youngest son, said, "Bismillah Khan was known for his Shehnai playing. I came to know about the incident two years back. But nobody from my family was concerned about it."

"I had demanded for the CBI enquiry. Along with the Shehnai other things are also lost," he added. "The one who looks after all the things like keys and everything will be under doubt. Kazim Hussain used to keep everything," he said.
