The last surviving dog of the 26/11 Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad passed away on Thursday.

Caesar, the last surviving dog of the 26/11 Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad of the Mumbai Police, passed away on Thursday after prolong illness. Caesar, a Labrador, died around 9.30 AM at Fizzah Farm in Virar near Mumbai, where he was buried with full state honour with his body covered with Tricolour.
Caesar was depressed since his colleagues Tiger, Max and Sultan passed away in last four months at the farm. "The brave, alert & efficient Caeser will be remembered fondly for his services. An emotional moment for all of us @MumbaiPolice #RIPCaeser (sic)," tweeted CP Mumbai Police.

"Services of retired member of dog squad, during 26/11 wil b unforgettable. We will miss our hero immensely #RIPCaeser (sic)," tweeted the Mumbai Police.
