Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday entered into a fresh spat with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. In a counter reaction to Jung's 'urgent' fax to deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, asking him to cut short his foreign trip, AAP ministers Satyendar Jain and Kapil Mishra knocked at Jung's door to find out what was so urgent for the L-G to call Sisodia back.

The two AAP ministers went to meet L-G without prior intimation, only to find L-G not in office. While the ministers took a jibe at Jung's absence at the time of urgency, the office of the L-G said that it got to know about the ministers visit only through the media.

"The media had prior intimation about the ministers visit, but the L-G office was not informed. It is regrettable that at a time when Delhi is facing such serious public health crises, the elected government is choosing to politicising the issue instead of providing succors to the public," reads the L-G press note.

The ministers meanwhile took a dig at Jung's absence. "We were told that it's off today and he does not sits in the office. We called him, but he is also not at his home. It appears that the L-G is in no mood to
work today," said Kapil Mishra, Minister for tourism in Delhi Government.

Sisodia is on a study tour to Finland, while Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has undergone a surgery and is also out of the city. L-G in an urgent fax to Sisodia had asked him to return immediately and take stocks of the dengue and chikungunya crises.

The ministers while waiting outside the L-G office also said that since L-G had asked Sisodia to return back urgently, they thought that Jung had something important to talk to the government. "We thought
perhaps Jung Saheb has found some very good idea to fight the diseases that he wanted to share with Sisodia. So we came running to meet him as we are working on Saturday and Sunday also."
