The contestants from Kolkata were among hundreds of entries for the graffiti section of the contest and were handpicked by renowned graffiti artiste Daku. The team of 6 worked on an original creative and cited the unique paradox of culture in the city as their core inspiration.

"Graffiti is an important art form that allows artistes to express themselves and is somewhat a reflection of the society. This is an art form which is evolving and deserves a mainstream platform for the sake of hundreds of budding artists," Daku said.
