It's a dog's life: Kolkata gets first pet-friendly cafe 'The Love Room'!

Next time, you're at a cafe sipping on your latte and reading a book, you don't have to miss the warmth of your pet.

'The Love Room', being called Kolkata's first pet-friendly cafe, will let you do exactly that and save you the guilt of leaving your pet behind at home.

An initiative by Ankush and Shruti, two ardent pet-lovers, the cafe already has nine resident dogs. So in case you're not allowed to have a pet at home, these bundles of joy will be sure to lift your spirits. 

Besides having a fenced area where the dogs can roam around if they have their leash on, they also have a special menu for your pets.

Shruti and Ankush say their journey to start their venture was not easy, but they're glad things are coming together now.

Currently, the cafe is open to dogs only, but with expansion of the area, other pets would also be allowed into the cafe.
