Kerala Shocker: Wedding photos morphed for pornography, CM Vijayan orders vigilance probe

In a shocking incident, a photography studio in Kerala was found allegedly morphing photographs of women and using them for pornographic purposes. Sadayam studio that specialised in wedding photography used photographs of women taken during their weddings. 

A complaint against Sadayam Shoot & Edit, a studio in Vadakara town in Kozhikode, was reportedly made when several women spotted their morphed marriage pictures on social media. Many such distorted pictures were being circulated on various social media platforms.  

A special investigation team was set up to probe the case, said Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. 

The police sealed the studio after investigations. Several documents were discovered and the two owner, Dinesham and Satheeshan, have been arrested. The police is also looking for Bibeesh, another person believed to involved in the crime said the Chief Minister in Kerala assembly. 

Kerala State Women's Commission had also initiated a case over the matter. The Superintendent of Police was also directed to form a special investigation team to probe the issue their supervision.

The news about the studio morphing the wedding pictures has created a panic situation in the locality where several other people and families had booked this studio for their event phototgraphy.  

CM Vijayan was replaying to a submission by C K Nanu (JD-S) on the need for a detailed probe into the complaints against the owner and staff of Sadayam studio that they had allegedly morphed photographs of women taken during marriage ceremonies and used it for porno pictures.

CK Nanu pointed out that the incident had serious implications and that people wanted the government to ensure the criminals were punished severely.
