The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) is likely to release the  Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 10th Exam Result this week. According to the sources the evaluation process got over last week and the result is expected anytime soon. In 2018, over 4.41 lakh students appeared for the Kerala Board SSLC Exam 2018 at nearly 3000 exam centres in the state. Nine centres were set for each Lakshadweep and the middle east. Kerala SSLC examinations commenced from March 7 and concluded on March 28. The Kerala Board SSLC Exam Results 2018 can be checked on its official website kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in. 

Steps to check Kerala Board Results 2018:

1. Go to any of the websites - kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, results.itschool.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in and examresults.net/kerala.

2. Click on the SSLC Results 2018 link.

3. Enter your roll number and date of birth and other details

4. You result will be displayed

5. Take a printout of Kerala Board Class 10 X Result 2018

Importance of the SSLC

The SSLC is obtained by passing a public examination, i.e., an examination that has been formulated by the regional board of education that the school is affiliated with, and not by members of the faculty of the school. The performance of a student in the SSLC examination is the key factor in obtaining admission to a higher secondary school of choice, where acceptance is typically based on the results of the SSLC examination. Therefore, the SSLC is often regarded as the first important examination that a student undertakes.
