Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik on Friday asserted the Kashmiris have legitimate claim to be a part of the NSA-level talks between India and Pakistan.

"Kashmir people have every legitimate claim to be a part of any kind of decision making process where India and Pakistan want to discuss Kashmir and Kashmiris must be a part of that process," Malik told ANI.
Another separatist leader Shabbir Shah on Friday said the Government of India should reject its rigid stand over NSA talks as their stand was very weak in nature. Shah told ANI,"Discussions won't progress without the Kashmir issue. We are not meeting with him for the first time; we have met earlier also during the NDA rule. It is not right to dictate the Government of Pakistan that it should not meet the Hurriyat leaders. Government of India should reject this rigidness; their stand is very weak."
Shah asserted that the Kashmir issue is very important for them and if Government of India wants discussion on it, then they are ready.
"It is not clear what Government of India wants. If it wants discussion, then we all should participate in it. Kashmir issue is the core issue so we will talk about other issues as well but Kashmir issue is priority," Shah told ANI. Shah confirmed that he along with his team will meet Pakistani National Security Adviser Sartaj Aziz on Sunday.
"I am going to Delhi tomorrow with my team and day after tomorrow we will meet Sartaj Aziz."
Pakistan has invited separatist Hurriyat leaders to meet with Sartaj Aziz, Prime Minister Nawaj Sharif?s Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security, in Delhi on Sunday. It may be recalled last year, the Indian Government had cancelled foreign secretary-level talks for the same reason.
