Three civilians were killed by terrorists in the North Kashmir town of Baramulla on Monday evening.
According to the police, the terrorists surfaced near Khanpora market in the town and started firing indiscriminately killing three civilians on the spot
The three victims have been identified as Asif Ahmad Sheikh, Haseeb Ahmad Khan and Mohammad Asgar of Kakar Hamam in Baramulla district.
Security forces have cordoned off the area to hunt down the terrorists responsible for the crime. Reinforcements have also been rushed to the area to augment the forces to track down the ultras responsible for the incident.
Police said two local and one foreign terrorist are involved in the killing of three civilians and believe that the Lashkar e Taiba (LeT) has a role to play in the incident. "As per available information one Pakistani terrorist and two local terrorists are involved in this heinous crime. Further investigations is going on," the police tweeted.
