Kashmir has bright future through Hindustan only: Farooq Abdullah

Union Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah today said the people of Jammu and Kashmir should realise that Kashmir "will not go anywhere" and "only recourse for them to have a bright future is through Hindustan".

"...it is people of Kashmir who have to change their thinking. Kashmiris have to build Kashmir... Hindustan is vibrant and the only recourse for Kashmir to have a bright future is through Hindustan," he said responding to Kashmiri students' queries at a seminar at Amity University here.

The Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy was responding to the concerns of students over availability of quality education in the state and job opportunities for Kashmiri Pandits who want to go back and settle there.

On reports of funds being provided from Delhi to some people in Kashmir, he said that these funds were being misused and ruining the country.
