Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018: MLAs moved out of Bengaluru for protection

Congress legislator DK Shivakumar and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy said that MLAs were being moved out from Bengaluru to avoid poaching by BJP.

The Karnataka drama continued late into Thursday. Congress shifted its legislators from Eagleton Resort near Bengaluru to Puducherry in a bus. JD(S) MLAs have left Shangri-La Hotel for Kerala by road. Congress legislator DK Shivakumar and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy said that MLAs were being moved out from Bengaluru to avoid poaching by BJP.

Kumaraswamy said the Centre was misusing is power and exerting pressure. Congress charged the Centre with roping in agencies including I-T and ED to take action against the party legislators.
