We again placed our demands in 2015, the chief minister had promised to allocate funds in the budget for the year 2016-17 but he failed again. We have no other option than remain absent from duty for a day,'' Manje Gowda said.

There will be no rallies or protest meetings. We have advised all the employees to remain at home. No one will attend duty on tomorrow,’’ he said.

There will be no change in our plan to abstain duty on Thursday,’’ he said.
