Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader HS Phoolka on Tuesday branded suspended Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra as a ‘bouquet of lies’.

After his oust from the Delhi cabinet, Mishra has been grabbing headlines by levelling sensational allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejiwal and AAP leader Satyendra Jain.

Speaking to ANI, Phoolka questioned Mishra’s biggest allegation against Kejriwal of accepting a Rs 2 crore bribe from Jain in front of him.

“If it was bribe money, why would it be given in front of a third person? Jain has denied going to Kejriwal’s house on that day. Mishra has failed to answer media queries properly,” said Phoolka, adding that Mishra’s charges aren’t believable.

Brining in another angle into the debacle, the eminent lawyer alleged that the Centre has been harassing Kejriwal.

“The one who favours Kejriwal faces criminal cases and those who speak against Kejriwal are being made a hero,”said Phoolka.

He said when Mishra was with Kejriwal then he was summoned by the Anti- Corruption Bureau for no reason.

“Mishra had himself said that he was told in the ACB to nail Kejriwal and save former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit,” said Phoolka.

He further alleged that there was a lot of pressure on the AAP Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and ministers to go against Kejriwal.

When asked many AAP members were shown the door by Kejriwal who opposed him, the lawyer justified such action.

“When one levels baseless allegations against party and its convener then it’s obvious that they would be shown the door,” he said.

Replying a question to if ‘All is not Well’ in the AAP considering the latest feud between Kumar Vishwas and MLA Amanatullah Khan, the lawyer said that now the BJP has changed its strategy to break the AAP.

“Earlier the BJP used to directly pressurise the Kejriwal government, but now it has changed it strategy. It is now picking up the ‘weak links in AAP’ who can’t bear the pressure and putting them up against Kejriwal government,” alleged Phoolka.

He urged the people to understand the ’propaganda of lies’ against a party that has come to fore from a movement against corruption and all the political parties are trying to suppress this movement.
