Alleging absence of governance in the state, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today demanded dismissal of the Omar Abdullah government.
"We urge Governor NN Vohra to dismiss the government and dissolve the state Assembly so that fresh elections can be held in a fair manner," JKNPP chairman Bhim Singh told a press conference here.
"There is no governance in Jammu and Kashmir, and no iota of democracy particularly in the Valley," he said.
"Corruption is the rule of law and the family rule has forced people to take to the streets," Singh said.
People had lost faith in the NC-led government whose track record had been dismal, the JKNPP chairman said.
