J&K: Viral image of CRPF jawan doing namaaz, with fellow soldier keeping guard breaks internet

The Srinagar unit of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Saturday shared a couple of images on their Twitter handle that garnered a lot of response on social media.

The two images, captioned Brothers In Arms For Peace, shows a jawan getting ready to do namaz, while his fellow-soldier keeps guard with a baton and rifle. The CRPF has also retweeted the picture.

The images elicited multiple responses, mostly positive, with some saying “this is real India” and that the photograph showed we were capable of “unity and harmony.”

The CRPF has come under a spate of attacks on its convoys in the Valley in the recent past. Recently, it also considered to ensure a partial or full bullet-proof armour to its four-wheeled troop carriers.
