Protests, hartal, curfew-like restrictions and internet shutdown marked the second day of the three day protest programme over the killings of seven civilians in the Sirnoo village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

Life remained paralysed after people observed complete shutdown against the Pulwama killings on Sunday. Shops and business establishments were shut and traffic was off the roads on Sunday. Curfew-like restrictions was imposed in old Srinagar and Pulwama to prevent protest and stone pelting.
