Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Navratras and Navreh.

In his message, the Governor observed that the Navratras have a special importance for the lakhs of pilgrims who visit the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji during this holy period to seek blessings of the goddess.

The Governor extended warm greetings also to all Kashmiri Pandits who celebrate this auspicious day as Navreh, the beginning of the New Year and the onset of Spring.

The Governor prayed that this propitious occasion will become the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
