Jharkhand govt to give land to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's AOL: CM Raghubar Das

Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday announced that the state government would give land free of cost to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living to open a spiritual centre.

Let the spiritual guru inspire the people to remove Jharkhand's poverty, Das said while speaking at Ravi Shankar s programme, according to an official release here. "One's development would happen only when one is physically, mentally and ideally strong and then the state would develop," he said, adding it would be realised only with the inspiration of Ravi Shankar. 

Thw Spiritual leader called upon Naxals to join mainstream of society for the sake of Jharkhand s development and development of poor people. "If you are fighting for social justice and development of poor people shun bullet and adopt ballot, your mission would be fulfilled", he said while addressing a gathering at Golf ground here this evening.

"In Jharkhand naxal incidents have come down sharply. Hardly 10% have been left in state. I request naxals whosoever are left come to mainstream of society and contribute in proper utilization of Jharkhand s mineral resources for the development of state as well as for the uplift of poor people", he said.
