JEE Main (Paper II) 2016: Candidates can challenge OMR answer sheets, answer keys

Around two lakh students cleared the JEE (Main) exam conducted on April 3, 2016. IIT Guwahati is the organising institute for JEE 2016. The exam was held both online and offline in 132 cities.

Around two lakh students cleared the JEE (Main) exam conducted on April 3, 2016. IIT Guwahati is the organising institute for JEE 2016. The exam was held both online and offline in 132 cities.

The results for JEE Main were declared by CBSE Last month. 

Candidates who appeared for JEE (Main) - 2016 (Paper - II) held on April 3, 2016, will be able to see the scanned images of OMR answer sheets on the official website of JEE (Main).

The scanned images of OMR sheets on which the candidates have recorded their responses will be made available on www.jeemain.nic.in from May 24 to May 27 until 11.59 pm. Students can challenge the sheets if they differ from what they have marked on their OMR sheets.

JEE (Main) challenges will be accepted online only on the website mentioned above. The link for the same will be available from May 24 to May 27 until 11.59 pm.

Candidates are advised to not submit the challenges via post or person because Central Board of Secondary Education will not accept those challenges.

Rs 1000 will be the prescribed fee per recorded response challenged. The fees once paid is non-refundable. This fee will have to be paid via Credit/Debit card or e-Challan available on the site.

CBSE will also upload the answer keys of Paper - II of JEE (Main) - 2016 on the official website. These keys will be available from May 24 to May 27 until 11.59 pm.

Candidates can challenge these answer keys too. The links for the same are available on the official website from May 24 to May 27 until 11.59 pm. 

The procedure for challenging the answer keys is same as challenging OMR sheets.

If candidates fail to submit these challenges in the give time window. The board will assume the candidate is satisfied with the answers they have submitted.
