Jeans, leggings and tees banned in Madurai Medical College

When freshers set foot onto the Madurai Medical College campus they will have to follow a new dress code. The Dean of Madurai Medical College has put forward a new dress code for all students.

According to the Dean S Revwathy, jeans, tees and leggings can’t be worn by girls to college. They can’t leave their hair loose and neither can wear the famous Madurai jasmine on their hair. She has also instructed all male students to wear formal full sleeve shirts, trousers and shoes.

Madurai Medical College has had numerous ragging incidents in the past. But the Dean has assured freshers that no ragging takes place and that they have an anti-ragging committee to help students.
