Tamil Nadu chief minister and AIADMK supremo,J.Jayalalithaa has greeted the Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi on his magnificent victory in the Lok Sabha Elections.

A release by the State Government said that she (Jayalalithaa) looks forward to an era of meaningful cooperation' between his government at the Centre and her state.

Congratulating him, she wished the very best to him and his Government under his stewardship.

Mamata says, Trinamool Congress will play big role in 16th Lok Sabha

West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo, Mamata Banerjee on Saturday has said that her party will play a big role in the 16th Lok Sabha in the interest of the people of the state.

Addressing a press conference in Kolkata today with newly elected members of the Lok Sabha Banerjee dedicated the massive victory in the state to the people.

She said that it is the people who opposed the maligning campaign against the party and gave their verdict in favour of thirty-four candidates out of forty-two Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Banerjee said that all newly elected party members will go to Delhi to take oath on 25th of this month.
