Pakistan violated ceasefire in Poonch sector in the afternoon in which a jawan received bullet injuries.

Hours after Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) expressed concern over terrorist movement across the Line of Control; Pakistan Army resorted to firing on the Indian forward positions in Poonch sector leaving one army jawan dead on Thursday.

He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed. The slain soldier has been identified as Sepoy Deepak Jagannath Ghadge.
The 27-year- old martyr belongs to village Borgaon in Satara district of Maharashtra. He is survived by his wife, a two-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter.
