While addressing the Citizen Felicitation Ceremony of President Ramnath Kovind at Birla Auditorium, on Sunday, Raje said that the work of Dravyavati River Rejuvenation Project will be completed by August 15.
Jaipur will finally get gift of three long-awaited projects by August 15, chief minister Vasundhara Raje announced this on Sunday. She said that the works of Dravyavati River Rejuvenation Project, Ring Road Project and Illumination of Main Market of Walled City will be completed by August 15.
While addressing the Citizen Felicitation Ceremony of President Ramnath Kovind at Birla Auditorium, on Sunday, Raje said that the work of Dravyavati River Rejuvenation Project will be completed by August 15. The work of project worth Rs 1500 crore was given to the Tata company.
“We will dedicate the project to the masses by August 15. The work of the Ring Road project is going on at fast pace and it too will be completed by August 15,” said Raje. She also expressed gratitude towards Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for the Project.
Similarly, under the Smart City Project, the goal of completion of the work of illumination of main markets of Walled City will be done till August 15. While praising the cleanliness in Jaipur, Raje said that cleanliness and gardens are now being seen in the city. It is worth mentioning here that the 47-kilometre long Dravyavati River’s beautification work is being done rapidly. The state government is preparing for the launch of the project before the code of conduct for assembly elections comes into force. Similarly, the Ring Road project has been stuck for the last 10 years. The current government has assigned NHAI to construct a ring road. NHAI is working on it at a fast pace.
It may be recalled that the work of Illumination of Main Markets of Walled City was started almost a year ago. It is being done on Walled City’s main market buildings to promote night tourism. This work has been completed in the Chaura Raasta and it was inaugurated by CM two months ago. Now the work is going on in Johari Bazar, Kishanpol Bazar, Tripoliya Bazar and other markets.

- He was received at the airport by Governor Kalyan Singh and Chief minister Vasundhara Raje.
- The president will leave for Ajmer by a helicopter on Monday where he will visit Pushkar and Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
