Jaipur candidates return to normal lives

Several candidates sent thank you messages to the voters on their mobile phones for participating in the electoral process.

After hectic campaigning came to an end with curtains coming down on the elections in Rajasthan on Friday, the candidates went about their chores the day after.

Jaipur mayor and BJP candidate from Sanganer constituency Ashok Lahoti, spent time with their kids and family, while Congress candidate from Hawa Mahal seat in the Walled City of Jaipur, Mahesh Joshi, hopped into a salon to get their hair trimmed.

There were others like sitting legislator from Vidhyadhar Nagar seat, Narpat Singh Rajvi, who decided to return to a healthy lifestyle by indulging in early morning yoga. Naveen Pilania, the BSP candidate from Amber went about his constituency to have hookah with the electors on Saturday. Lal Chand Kataria was busy attending to his supporters who were confident of him winning the Jhotwara seat.

Several candidates sent thank you messages to the voters on their mobile phones for participating in the electoral process. Assembly elections to 199 out of 200 seats in Rajasthan concluded on Friday. Counting will take place on December 11.
