Union Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Monday said it was for state governments to take action on complaints on re-conversion incidents.
"If there are complaints about re-conversion, it is for the state governments to act on them," he said told reporters at nearby Malliyur. The Minister was reacting to queries on re-conversion ceremonies organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Kottayam and adjoining districts since December last.
