Young ISIS attackers may target PM Modi on Republic Day: Intelligence alert

According to the intelligence inputs, boys of 12-15 age are being trained in weapons and explosives and may have sneaked into the country.

Security agencies are more cautious about Republic Day arrangements since they received an intelligence report that said that terrorist groups such PoK, Af-Pak and even Islamic State could be preparing teens to carry out a fidayeen attack on PM Modi, says an English daily. PM Narendra Modi had last year broken the security detail by breaking the cordon to meet children while going out of Red Fort.

According to the intelligence inputs, boys of 12-15 age are being trained in weapons and explosives and may have sneaked into the country. The alert was sent on Friday to SPG, police and intel units in NCR.

Senior advisers have been briefed and have been urged that PM Modi not breach security cordon. The special cell has received information regarding the present threat by an anonymous person and it will carry search operations.

Many terror groups including ISIS have been training children to use machine guns and rocket launchers. Among these is Ansar-ud-Tawhid-Tawhid (AuT) which is helping ISIS spread in India (AuT) which is helping ISIS spread in India.

Ahead of the one-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Francois Hollande, the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on Friday asked Haryana police to submit crime status report for Gurgaon, Faridabad and other adjoining districts as part of efforts to ensure proper security arrangements.

The two leaders have a programme scheduled on January 25 at National Institute of Solar Energy situated on the Gurgaon- Faridabad Expressway where the foundation stone for the interim secretariat of the international solar alliance will be laid.
