Is the Gujarat government trying to conceal the latest report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG)? Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil alleged on Saturday that Narendra Modi was scared of the CAG report as it has exposed massive corruption and irregularities of the state government.
“Gujarat Assembly has provision to table the CAG report in the beginning of the Assembly session but CM has not allowed it to be tabled to cover its corruption.
Gujarat state petroleum Corporation (GSPC) is the biggest platform of corruption for the CM. With a malafide intention, GSPC has not put Take or Pay (TOP) clause in its agreement which has resulted in a loss of Rs502.19 crore to the state exchequer,” he said while addressing the media on Saturday.
Furthering his allegation about Adani’s connection with Modi, Gohil alleged that GSPC has sold gas to Adani at a price less than the company’s purchase price resulting into profits worth crores for the company.
