IRCTC introduces hassle-free Mussoorie Rail Tour Package

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a weekend Mussoorie Rail Tour Package that includes confirmed rail reservations, meals, sightseeing and stay in a reputed hotel.

The recently launched package includes AC Chair Car travel in New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi train on every Friday and Saturday, travel from Dehradun to Mussoorie, stay at hotels and much more. The stay at Country Inn and Suites by Carlson in Mussoorie includes buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner.

IRCTC also provides complimentary pick up and drop from the hotel to Mall Road in Mussoorie. Further, there is one-day sightseeing tour of Company Gardens and Kempty Falls. Sightseeing of local temples and MDDA Park in Dehradun during the return journey is a part of the package.

"The biggest attraction of the package is that it is customized to take care of the entire needs of passengers. They don't have to bother about finding a hotel or getting fleeced by cab operators, which is a normal phenomenon at these destinations during summers," an IRCTC official said.

"Also, our patrons are made to stay, that too during weekends, in Country Inn and Suites, which is a branded property. Mussoorie is an ideal gateway during summers with its salubrious climate, serenity and scenic beauty. IRCTC has taken utmost care to make the package memorable one for its patrons", he added
