Court has sent all the six accused to police remand till October 22.
One of the most brutal facts that has surfaced in the sensational killing of the 18-year-old girl by hired killers is that her brother held her in his tight grip till the hired killers cut the body in two pieces. Police on Saturday took on remand all the six accused including three hired killers, the father and brother of the deceased and an auto rickshaw man, who acted as conduit in the deal for the heinous murder.
Had Nagina not trusted her brother Irfaan and accompanied him with three hired killers, she might not have been killed in such a brutal manner. Dewas Kotwali police station in charge Bhupendra Singh Chauhan told dna that Irfaan, the brother, not only took her to the killers but also caught her tightly when they attacked her with sharp- edged weapons until her body was cut into two pieces.
The murder was committed near Khatamba village at Bhopal Road on the same day when Nagina was taken from her coaching class in the Civil Lines in Dewas.
Police have also arrested the sixth accused Anis, an auto-rickshaw driver, who was main conspirator and coordinator between the killers and the father and the brother of the victim.
On Saturday, police produced all the six accused in the court from where they were sent on police remand till October 22.
Nagina was murdered two weeks ago and her body was found in a well on the outskirts of Indore. She hailed from a well-to-do family and owned properties worth lakhs. Since she was in love with a youth of another community, her father and brother feared she might transfer the assets in her name to her lover. This suspicion drove them to hire three killers. The deal was struck in Rs 5 lakhs.
