Indian nurse murdered in Oman: Sushma Swaraj calls for report

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday said an Indian national working as a nurse in Oman was murdered and has asked the Indian Ambassador there for a report on the matter.

According to reports, Chikku Robert (25) was stabbed to death while resisting a robbery bid. Chikku was reportedly five months pregnant. 

Chikku Robert, 28-year-old nurse was working at a hospital in Salalah for the past two years. She was living there with her husband Linson, who worked at the same hospital. Chikku and Linson had been married for seven months.
