Indian Army prepared to secure boundaries: Gen Bikram Singh

Speaking on the occasion of the 65th Army Day, the chief of staff said he wanted to assure the nation that the army is prepared to face all challenges of national security.

Chief of army staff General Bikram Singh on Tuesday assured the nation that the the Indian Army is "always prepared for securing boundaries of the nation and foil designs of enemy".

"In view of various challenges, we have kept operational preparedness of our forces at the highest level," said Singh responding to the ongoing crossfire at the Line of Control with Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion of the 65th Army Day, the chief of staff said, "I want to assure the nation that Indian Army is prepared to face all challenges concerning national security."
