A number of activists from several political and civil society organisations held here protest against Israel's genocidal attack on Gaza and demanded boycott of India's collaborations and military ties with the Jew state. Activists from around 70 political and civil society organisations came together in a rally on Saturday and Friday, condemning the Israel's continuing aggression against the Palestinian people.

"Israel's war of invasion, and its continuing bombardment and brutal siege of Gaza, is an unprecedented crime against humanity. We want our government to boycott all forms of direct and indirect collaborations with Israel and end all military ties with Israel," said activist Shabnam Hashmi.

A 'photo booth' was also constructed where members of the audience got their photographs taken against the backdrop of an 'In Solidarity with Gaza' banner and another installation where audiences wrote solidarity messages on postcards for the people of Gaza which will be later sent to them. The event included protest statements and speeches, exhibitions and performances apart from songs and poetry reading.
