Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his 'dharna politics' and said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief is a bigger actor than him.

Speaking at Zee Media's India ka DNA Conclave 2019, Tiwari said,"Kejriwal is a bigger actor than me. I am just an actor for the screen but here is an actor who is the dialogue writer, director and also the dress designer."

His remarks came a day after Kejriwal called off the nine-day sit-in at the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal's office after bureaucrats started attending meeting with AAP ministers.

Tiwari said he had met IAS officers at the Delhi secretariat who were working while Kejriwal was sitting at LG office claiming that they were on strike.

The North East Delhi MP claimed that the Chief Minister has not come to office since April even though the AC in his office has been working.

The person who was saying that he wanted to meet IAS officers is going to Bengaluru for 15 days, he said. According to media reports, Kejriwal will leave for Bengaluru tomorrow for treatment after his sugar level increased during sit-in protest at LG office.

"First time I am seeing that people get tired by resting on the couch. First time I am seeing that someone gained weight on fast," Manoj Tiwari said.

Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues have been holding a sit-in at the LG's office since June 11, demanding a direction to the officers to end their "strike". The bureaucrats have been at loggerheads with the AAP dispensation following the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in February.

The BJP leader said that people of the national capital are just waiting for another election so that they can show the exit door to Kejriwal government.

The BJP MP taunted AAP government's Mohalla Clinic project saying that "horses and donkeys are sitting in Mohalla clinics."

Tiwari slammed Kejriwal government over the issues of water saying people are being killed over the issue.
