India giving befitting reply to Pakistan's ceasefire violations, says Giriraj Singh

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh on Monday said the Government of India is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan's ceasefire violations.

Singh was responding to the latest ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District.

It is very unfortunate. They talk less of the benefit of the nation and do more of politics. Ever since the Modi Government has been formed, India is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan, Singh told ANI.

Pakistan has chosen to take the last path. We have given freedom to our army and not obstructed their way like Congress did. Pakistan knows India is giving a befitting reply to it, he added.

Monday's ceasefire violation has claimed one life and injured seven others. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
