The ACB conducted a surprise raid early on Friday morning at house of an Office Superintendent (OS) of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and recovered documents of property worth crorers of rupees.

Interestingly, the man was allotted an official residence which he rented out to his brother while he used to live at his farm house. The bureau sleuths have also recovered documents of lands and properties from his office which ideally should not be in his possession.
The OS has been identified as Mukesh Kumar Meena. “Meena is posted as the OS in the office of Director (Legal) in JDA. Recently, information was received from sources that Meena had amassed a huge wealth to the tune of over Rs2 crore though his income source would amount to around Rs34 lakh. A verification bid was initiated and after the same was found to be true, a case was registered under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code. A search warrant was also received in this connection,” said Alok Tripathi, ADG - ACB.
Five teams were formed which conducted the raid early in the morning. During the search operation documents were recovered related to Meena’s house and farm house in Biharipur and Devgaon. Documents worth crores of rupees involving movable and immovable properties were also recovered. During the search operation it was also found that Meena had got a government house allotted to himself and rented the government house to his brother.
One of the teams searched the accused’s office also. The teams have recovered documents denoting 10 bank accounts of the man which have been seized.
