IIT Roorkee declares GATE 2017 results, check at iitr.ac.in

Students awaiting results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017, can finally heave a sigh of relief. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has declared GATE 2017 results one day in advance and the results are now available on their official website - ​appsgate.iitr.ac.in.

The results were earlier scheduled to be declared on March 27 by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

The final score card for GATE 2017 will be available for download till May 5, 2017. 

GATE exam 2016 was held from February 4 to February 12 earlier this year and final answer keys of the test were uploaded on March 16.

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:

(i) Log on to the website - appsgate.iitr.ac.in

(ii) Enter your roll number and your date of birth.

(iii) Click on submit

(iv) You will now get access to your results.

Candidates can take a print out of their scorecard for future reference.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. The operations related to GATE in each of the 8 zones are managed by a zonal GATE Office at the IITs or IISc. The Organizing Institute (OI) is responsible for the end-to-end process and coordination amongst the administering Institutes. The Organizing Institute for GATE 2016 is Indian Institute of Science.
