After several exit polls predicted BJP would come to power in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said that Hindutva and the Modi wave have helped the party.

In Punjab, SAD-BJP is likely to be decimated and get figures in single digits.
Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Manipur states went to polls over the course of two months and the results of these states will be seen as a virtual referendum on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity after his demonetization decision on November 8 last year.
