ICSE and ISC Result 2016: How you can check your results via SMS

ICSE Class 10th & ISC Class 12th Results 2016 will be announced today May 6, 2016 at 3 pm.

All students who have appeared for all Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) & Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination 2016 conducted by Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will be able to view their results at 3 pm today on May 6, 2016.

The exam results will be up on the official website of the board as given here

However candidates may also check their ISCE and ISC results for 2016 by following the steps to get via SMS.

Follow these steps to check ICSE class 10th results and ISC class 12th result by SMS:

1. For ICSE result send the message “ICSE 9999999” ( where 999999 is your 7 digit ID number) to  09248082883.

2. For ISC Results send “ISC 9999999” (where 9999999 is your 7 digit ID number) to  09248082883.

3. Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will respond with subject wise marks.
Example: RAVI KUMAR ENG-92, HIN-90, HCG-93, MAT-95, SCI-92, CTA-99, SUPW-A, PCA.

Please note this will be available only after the ISCE and ISC results are declared on the CISCE website.

Some quick information:

The ICSE class 10th examination was conducted by CISCE between February 29 and March 31, 2016. 1,58,833 students sat for in 2016 which incudes 70,624 girls and 88,209 boys.

Last year results showed that 98.54% girls did bette than boys in ICSE. The results were declared on May 18, 2015 while this year the result will be almost 2 weeks earlier. Last year 98.49% students had cleared the exams.

The ISC class 12th examinations took place between February 8 and April 8, 2016.  71,141 students appeared for it and the number of boys were greater than the number of girls i.e. 38,659 boys & 32,482 girls. In 2015, of those appeared 96.38% students passed the ISC and here too girls outperformed boys.
