'I need you for one night', Nagpur college lecturer demands sexual favours from student to return hall ticket

In a shocking incident, a lecturer of a Polytechnic college from Maharashtra's Nagpur city allegedly demanded sexual favours from a student to return her hall ticket, reported Pudhari News.

The incident came to light after the girl informed her friends and relatives.

Amit Ganvir, a lecturer of Dharampeth Polytechnic college allegedly made the demand after he caught the student from LAD College surfing the internet during her Hair Dressing course examination on April 13.

The lecturer confiscated her hall ticket, mobile phone and identity card. However, when the girl objected, the principal allegedly told her that he would return her mobile and hall ticket but she would have to spend a night with him.

He did not stop there. The girl told him that he was of her father's age and appealed to him saying doesn't he have a daughter? To this he reportedly responded that he was 'unmarried and fresh'.

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena and Yuva kranti workers thrashed and blackened the lecturer's face after the incident came to light.

A complaint has been registered against the accused and the Principal in the Ambazari police station.
