Recalling the hard work which went behind the making of Yoddha, the lavishly mounted period-contemporary mainstream flick by Raj Chakraborty, actor-turned-MP Dev says there was death-defying stunts again after 'Chander Pahar'.

"The horse riding for hours, the fight sequences with Nigel Okara's screen character, days and nights of shooting at the film city in Chandrokona. I sometimes consider myself lucky. But I don't have many years left," Dev said when asked about the helicopter ride stunts where he dangles from the chopper mid-air in an action scene.

"In 'Chander Pahar' you all know how I had almost fallen from the cliff during shoots in South Africa. I don't believe in usi9ng body double. So when you enact an edge-of-the seat sequence, you have to go through the steps, you can't fake," the Rangbaz actor said on the sidelines of the special screening of Yoddha, a love triangle transcending two different time zones and having references of after-life.

Dev, who was asked how many actresses he would romance with on-screen from Koel (Mallick) to Tanushree and now Mimi Chakraborty, played safe.

"It's all the producers and director's call. But Mimi was very dedicated and I was lucky to have such wonderful co-actors," he said. "I won't say anything. It's for the media and the film fraternity to deliver judgement. Happy Yoddha vied with the Puja crowd," director Raj Chakroborty said about the most expensive Bengali film after Chander Pahar by Shri Venkatesh Films.
