prevailed across Bihar today with Gaya being the hottest place
in the state at 37.1 degree Celsius.
Patna and Bhagalpur followed Gaya, recording maximum
temperature of 36.4 degree C each while Purnea registered 35.5
degree C, a Met office bulletin said.
The increased temperature coupled with high level of
humidity made life difficult for people.
The morning humidity level hovered between 61 to 71
per cent in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea while their
evening humidity level was recorded between 55 to 68 per cent,
Met office said.
Purnea recorded the highest humidity level in the
evening humidity at 83 per cent due to 2.8 mm rain that
occurred today.
Met department forecast partly cloudy sky with
possibility of rain or thunder in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and
Purnea tomorrow.
The bulletin said that light to moderate rainfall
occurred at a few places in the state since yesterday.
Places like Barhaiya received 3 cm rainfall while Pusa
and Dengraghat registered rainfall of 2 cm each, it said.
