Union Territory Chandigarh recorded a maximum temperature
of 35.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, the
report said.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a maximum of 36.3 degrees,
three degrees above normal while Hisar's maximum was 38.2
degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.
Narnaul recorded maximum of 37.5 degrees Celsius, three
notches above normal.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded maximum of 35.7 degrees, two
notches above normal while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded a
maximum of 35.6 and 36.5 degrees Celsius, up to four notches
above normal.
The MeT has predicted possibility of light to moderate
rains/thundershowers at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana
in next two days.
