Honey effect: Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim loses 6 kgs in jail worrying about 'Papa's Angel'

Rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is currently lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has lost 6 kilograms weight in 40-days of his imprisonment.

The self-inflicted Godman weighed 90 kgs when he was lodged in the Rohtak jail in August but now weights 84 kgs, according to a Mail Today report.

The report also cited that one of the main reason for his weight loss is for maintaining distance from his adopted daughter and close aide Honey Insan.

Away from his luxurios lifestyle, the Dera Sacha Sauda chief,  who used to import packaged water from foreign countries, is living his nightmares as he drinks jail water and eats jail food.

The jail activities assigned to him has also taken a toll on his health as he is an unskilled labourer. He grows vegatable and water plants and tills soil everyday for five hours and earns Rs 20 per day.

However, Dr KP Singh, DGP prisons of Haryana, has confirmed that baba's health is fine. He also said that in case of health complications, Singh will be referred to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS).

Ram Rahim is a high-blood pressure and diabetes patient.
