The incident comes days after the Shiv Sena in Gurugram shut 300 shops selling non-veg

A couple of days after the Gurugram unit of the Shiv Sena demanded that shops and restaurants that served non vegetarian food downed their shutters for the nine-day Navrati period, a group of men entered a mall in Ghaziabad with the same demands.
On Thursday, the group of men entered the Opulent Mall in Ghaziabad and reportedly told eateries, McDonald’s included, not to serve non-vegetarian food
While the incident has been captured by CCTV cameras, a Times of India report says that security personnel who were interviewed after the incident maintained that the men did not misbehave or threaten anyone.
The men also went into a McDonald’s store in the mall. Staff members, who were interviewed, said that they were told to take non-vegetarian food off the menu for the next nine days. “They were convinced and went away. However, they told us that they will return to cross-check if we are actually adhering to their directions or simply hoodwinking them," a staff member reportedly said.
However, eyewitnesses tweeted the account.
