Here are the bills govt to plan to bring in Lok Sabha next week

The government is looking to push its legislative reforms in the Monsoon session of Parliament and many key bills are likely to be introduced.

The Transgender Persons Protection bill, Citizenship Amendment bill are among the legislations which will be brought next week in the Lok Sabha by the government.

Apart from these, the lower house of Parliament will also take up the Central Agricultural University Bill, the Employee's Compensation Bill, and the High Courts (Alteration of Names) Bill. The Mental Health Care Bill, after it is passed by Rajya Sabha, may also be taken up by the Lok Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Ministry said in an official statement.

Rajya Sabha will take up the Mental Health Care Bill and Enforcement of Security Interest and Recovery of Debts 2016, apart from the Enemy Property Bill, which was passed by Lok Sabha and reported by Select Committee.
Time has also been allotted for the Central Agricultural University Bill, the Employee s Compensation Bill, the Transgender Persons Bill, and the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 in Rajya Sabha after passed by the Lok Sabha.

This week, the Lok Sabha discussed on sustainable development goals and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Issues related to developments in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh leading to change in the governments there and role of governors in respective states, and also on alleged diversion of money from Employees Provident Fund to Stock Market were discussed in Rajya Sabha.
