In another heartrending incident, a two-day old baby girl was abandoned a couple of days ago at MY Hospital. The baby has now joined the league of abandoned babies in MYH’s nursery.

The nursery now has four babies; out of them three are girls. Hospital staff told dna that the baby was abandoned on December 19, and was later shifted to nursery.

Hospital staff said, her mother, Sushila delivered the baby on December 17 in the hospital. Her mother walked out of hospital without her baby on December 19 in the evening.

She might have cited some reason like going for getting some check up done and vanished from the hospital. The name of the baby’s mother was registered as Sushila wife of Bairav Singh in the hospital records. Her parents mentioned Govind Nagar Khalsa in Banganga as their address in the records.

Hospital administration has informed the police about the incident. Police said, “As we got the information we have informed Banganga police station to look for the couple, so that the baby can be handed over to them.”

At least one such incident takes place every month, and most of the babies are girls, said the police official. The baby now lay by side of the baby who was abandoned in an auto earlier this month.
