Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today launched the website of its cow protection commission to make available all information pertaining to it.

The website -- www.hargauseva.gov.in -- would allow the people to view the aims, objectives, functions and activities of the Haryana Gau Seva Ayog, as well as the list of all cow shelters in the state and grants released to them year-wise, Khattar said.

The Chairman of the Ayog, Bani Ram Mangla, said there were 425 cow shelters functioning in the state.

The website would also have information pertaining to the assets of the Ayog, facilities being provided in the cow shelters, legislations and other notifications.

Facility of extending donation to the cow shelters would also be added on the website in the next phase, he added.
