Describing Haryana as his second home, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday asserted that he cannot listen, see or say anything bad about the state and urged the people to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming assembly polls in the state. "Haryana is like my second home. I got my political learning from this land. Therefore, I cannot think of anything bad happening in Haryana. The love of people, hard work of party workers and sins of previous government will definitely bring change," the Prime Minister said at an election rally here.

"Mothers, sisters, youth and farmers of Haryana want to see a future where the development happens at a faster pace, where women can live with dignity, youth has opportunities. We dream of a Haryana with job opportunities, safety and development. Haryana government cannot stop BJP's victory journey. There will be change and it will change Haryana's destiny," he added. Attacking the dynasty politics persisting in the state, he said, "Do you want freedom from corruption, muscle power? We need to change the path going on for the last so many years." He also attacked the Congress for seeking answers about delivery from his government, "Those who never answered the public for 60 years are asking about my 60 days. Have they ever given account of their work for 60 years, have they ever answered about promises they made?" Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked.

"I will give you account of every penny and every second as I wasn't born in a Prime Minister's house, I am your servant," he added. Talking about connecting rivers and sorting drinking water problems to areas like Mahendragarh which is arid prone because of its close proximity to Rajasthan, Prime Minister said, "We want to connect the rivers so that the floods can be controlled as well as the rivers which have dried up can also be revived." Prime Minister Narendra Modi is extensively touring both Haryana and Maharashtra, where elections will be held on October 15.
